SFTP Transfer Module Sunset

Netice is retiring the SFTP-based transfer module across all customers as we focus exclusively on our core app-data infrastructure platform. This page is the canonical reference for scope, dates, billing, and secure decommissioning steps.

Key dates

Announcement

February 16, 2026: Announcement of retiring the module. Auto-renewal subscriptions are cancelled. No further charges will be made for the SFTP module.

Service end

March 28, 2026 (inclusive): Existing SFTP tasks remain operational through this date to support transition.

What is changing

The SFTP-based transfer module will be retired. During the transition period, existing SFTP transfer tasks will continue to run as-is. We are offering a grace period until March 28, 2026 which is longer than typical in the industry, as we understand pur customers will need to prepare their migration.

Why

Netice is focusing exclusively on its core app-data infrastructure platform going forward. Retiring the SFTP-based transfer module allows us to concentrate engineering, operations, and support on a single platform direction. This is a strategic change.

Who is affected

Customers with existing SFTP transfer task(s). If you do not use SFTP tasks, you are not impacted by this sunset.

What is not changing

Netice’s focus going forward is our core app-data infrastructure platform. This notice applies to the SFTP-based transfer module only.

What you should do

Use the transition window to move to an alternative solution. Existing SFTP tasks will remain operational through March 28, 2026 (inclusive).

Optional: stop earlier

You can log in and delete the task at any time during the transition period.

Credential removal

Deleting the task removes the related stored integration credentials. We will also ensure all remaining credentials associated with the module are removed as part of the final decommissioning.

Billing during the sunset

If you have a legacy subscription service for Netice (not the app data module) for SFTP<->GCP module, your subscription will not renew.
No further charges will be made for the SFTP module.

Secure handling during retirement

As part of the sunset, Netice will complete the data handling steps regarding complete erasing of your task information and task-related credentials and any other action required under our agreement following decommissioning.

Important note

If you delete your SFTP task during the transition period, the related stored integration credentials are removed at deletion time. Remaining credentials (if any) associated with the SFTP module will be removed as part of the final decommissioning. Netice will ensure the deletion and complete erasing and notify you when it is done.

FAQ

Will my existing SFTP tasks stop immediately?

No. Existing SFTP transfer tasks remain operational through March 28, 2026 (inclusive).

Can I stop earlier?

Yes. You can log in and delete the task at any time during the transition period.

What happens to stored credentials?

Deleting the task stops the task from running removes all related data such as any related stored integration credentials. Netice will also ensure any remaining credentials associated with the module are removed as part of the final decommissioning.

Will I be billed again for the SFTP module?

No. Any legacy SFTP<->GCP subscription will not renew, and no further charges will be made for this module.
